Fresubin Original Fibre

Fresubin 1.0 kcal Starter Tube Feed is a nutritionally complete starter enteral tube feeding formula designed for patients with, or at risk of, malnutrition who have lower energy requirements. It is intended to help gradually establish and build a full nutrition regimen while meeting the needs of patients with normal metabolic function.

Delivering 1.0 kcal/mL (1000 kcal per 1000 mL bag), it provides balanced energy for controlled nutritional support. With 38 g of high-quality protein per bag, it supports maintenance of body protein stores in line with requirements of approximately 0.8 g/kg body weight.

The formula contains fibre to support normal gut physiology and digestive function, along with fish oil for additional nutritional benefits. It is also enriched with vitamin D (20 µg per recommended daily requirement), supporting patients with limited or no endogenous synthesis, such as immobile individuals.
